Gift deeds are designed to add or transfer property that you already own to someone else without being paid by them. Common examples include adding a spouse after you get married, adding a parent or child to the property, or removing yourself from the title to leave it with someone else. It can also include in niche cases, re-titling property after you get married, changing the forms of tenancy, or correcting a misspelling.

How it works - When you hit the add to cart button, the site will generate a form for you to fill in the details of the deed you would like to make. Once it’s submitted, we will prepare a deed draft for review by email. You’ll have the opportunity to make revisions to the contract, up to a total of three redrafts. Any additional redrafts after that will be covered by an hourly rate.

The deed has to be notarized by the current owners before recording. In addition to notarizing the deed in our offices, we also offer the option to set up an online notarization for the owners to be able to sign electronically at no additional charge - sign anywhere at anytime.

This fee only covers drafting the deed and recording the signed deed with the courthouse.
